Activities in the Watershed
Boating

Because of the spring fed nature of the South Llano River, boating opportunities are available year-round for canoe and kayak enthusiast. . The best inner-tubing opportunities are located along the lower sections of the South Llano River in South Llano River State Park.

South Llano River Paddling Trail – opened in 2012 in partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife, City of Junction, Kimble County, Texas Tech Center at Junction and South Llano Watershed Alliance
